Novel 3-D Printed Hall Pass
I made a hall pass for my religion teacher. Since she is a new teacher and new to the school community I thought that this would be a perfect decoration for her classroom. This would add some form of liveliness to her classroom.
Supplies
3-D filament, tinkercad, sketching out ideas on paper, flow charts, creation of problem statement
Look at Original Pass and Create Rough Draft (Fast Prototype)
Look at and measure the original hall pass for measurements and ideas that would be used. Sketch out ideas on a piece of paper. Sketch out a variety of ideas for the pass. Messed around with the placement of the room number and client name on pass.
Coming Up With Idea on Tinkercad
Began formatting idea on Tinkercad. Used tools on Tinkercad to play around with ideas and decide which one I liked the most.
Feedback From Client
Show ideas to client and get feedback. Change idea on Tinkercad accordingly.
Began 3-D Printing Process
After making changes that are needed, begin the 3-D printing process. Takes 2-3 days to print the second prototype.
Prototype 2
The 3-D printed pass (second prototype) is printed. Go back to client and get more feedback. Make adjustments to make the final product.
Final Product
Used feedback from client to make the final product.
