No-slip Hangers

Tired of clothes falling off the hanger? Make this simple craft with just some fabric and hot glue! The fabric itself helps secure clothes more firmly by adding more friction, but the real winner is the lines of hot glue on the edges. These glue strips add extra grip for strappy tops and dresses. This craft also makes your closet much more colorful!
Supplies

Hanger
Scrap Fabric
Scissors
Hot Glue Gun and Glue

Cut strips of fabric about 1/2 inch to 3/4 of an inch wide. I used 8 strips 24 inches long to cover my hanger so you should make sure you have about 200 square inches of fabric.
Glue and Wrap

Starting at the top of the hanger, hot glue a strip of fabric over the front edge, then wrap over the hanger winding down as you go. Add a drop of glue every few inches to make sure the fabric stays secure.
Keep Wrapping

Keep wrapping and gluing down and around your hanger. Tip: when you transition from one strip of fabric to another, glue then wrap the new strip around fully one time so the end doesn't have a chance to unwind.
Add Glue Stripes

Once the whole hanger is covered, add three lines of hot glue to the top edges as shown to add further protection from slipping. I added the lines about 2 1/2 inches in and about 1/2 an inch apart from each other.
Let Dry and Hang!

Let the hot glue fully dry and hang your clothes without fear of slippage!
