How many times have you had your earphones yanked out of your ears in a crowded shopping mall, bus, or on the Tube? Worse, they drop onto the ground and sometimes get stepped on.

It happened to me once :'(
Which was how this instructable (my first!) got started.

Look for a Used Pass Holder With Clip

Look for a used security pass clip, there usually is at least one lying around in the drawer of an unused cubicle.

Ask the admin/personnel/security dept for a new one if you can't find any at the stationery supplies shop.

'Harvest' the Clip

Detach the clip from the security pass holder.

Introduce the Clip to the Earphone

Secure the loop over your earphone wire.

Hooking Up..

Attach the clip to your sling/pocket/shirt or cap!

Now your earphones will probably not hit the ground if you had attached them high enough.

Neat & Tidy, and Even the Colour Matches

The clip can even be used to hold earphone wires when the player is not in use.

Hurrah! No more tangled earphones!
