Join me in crafting this easy, no-sew T-shirt shrug to jazz up a tank-top, dress or costume.

Supplies

  1. T-Shirt
  2. Scissors
  3. Accessories, as desired: Broach, Clip, Pin

Cut the Front

With the shirt laid out, front side facing up:

Cut the front of the T-shirt up the center, stopping 1"-2" below the collar. If the shirt has a screenprint, feel free to cut it out, as shown.

Cut across the shirt 1"-2" below collar up to each armpit seam. Do not cut the seam.

Cut the Sleeves

Cut the sleeves into 3/4" strips for fringe effect.

Other ideas: Cut the sleeve to appear like a shoulder-pad, tie up the fringe, or add beading.

Add Accessories

Try the piece on and add a broach, clip or other accessory!

Have fun with it!
