No Cooking No Seeing Doctor and Living to 120 Breakfast

no cooking, no seeing doctor & living to 120. (1).png

As title says, this recipe involves no cooking, if you eat it everyday, it will help you avoid seeing doctors and live to 120 years old. :-) It can be made and eaten by a student living in dorm, somebody who is traveling, or even in office, almost anybody.

Supplies

1 packet of Yogourmet Freeze Dried Kefir Starter

4 cups of whole milk

1 set of yogurt jars

1 tbsp toasted sunflower seeds

1 tbsp toasted pumpkin seeds

1 tbsp dried apple chips

1 handful of fresh blue berries

1 handful of fresh strawberries

Make Kefir Yogurt

Add 1 packet of kefir starter to a container.

Add 4 cups of whole milk to the container.

Stir it to mix them well together.

Cover and let it sit at room temperature for 24 hours.

According to the starter instruction, you heat milk to 180 degrees Fahrenheit, then cool it to 75 degrees Fahrenheit and mix with the starter. I have done that for a long time. Then I realized all milk from American supermarket is pasteurized, I skipped heating it up but took milk out of fridge to let it rise to room temperature. I'd add the starter to milk at that point. Then I realized it's a waste of time to wait for the milk to rise to room temperature. I started to add the starter to milk right out of fridge. It turns out there is no detectable difference between making the kefir yogurt following the instruction steps by heating and cooling the milk before adding the starter and adding the starter to cold milk.
