No Bake Peanut Butter Protein Bars

Health is important physically, mentally/emotionally, and socially. Taking care of yourself is really important physically, emotionally, and spiritually. So try your best and help your body be happy, strong, and healthy. Getting enough sleep, exercise, hygiene, hydration, safety, and nutrition are ways to a healthy life. Protein takes a role part of nutrition and some people need easy ways to get to it. Homemade no bake protein bars is really simple with only a few steps! You can get protein in whether you don't like meat or wrap it up for a trip. There is fiber if you wish to add oats and there is iron if you wish to add chocolate.

Warning: Consuming too much and/or too less protein can lead to health problems.

Supplies

Two medium bowls (one needs to be microwaveable)

A spoon

A spatula

A bench scraper

A flat rectangle container or pan

1 3/4 cup creamy natural peanut butter

1 cup honey

2 cup protein powder

desired amount of oats (optional)

desired amount of chocolate chips (optional)

Note: This is a double batch, you can shrink the batch by using 1 cup of peanut butter, 3/4 cup of honey, 1 cup protein powder.

Getting Started

1. Scoop 1 3/4 cups creamy peanut butter into a microwaveable bowl.

2. Add 1 cup of honey and pour it into the same microwaveable bowl.

3. You will need 2 cups of protein powder in a medium bowl set aside.

4. You can also add the oats with the powder if you wish. Or add it at Step 4.

Melting

1. Place the peanut butter and honey bowl in the microwave until they are nearly liquefied like shown above.

2. Then stir a little bit.

Combine & Mix

1. Pour the peanut butter and honey mixture into the protein powder.

2. Then mix well, make sure you don't see powder as you mix.

3. If you hadn't add the oats, or the other things you wish to add, you can add them now.

Transfer

1. Transfer the dough to a flat rectangle container or pan.

2. Using a spatula flatten the dough as much as possible.

Note: If the dough is too thick for your liking, then can split the dough in half and put it in a separate container.

Place in Refrigerator

Cover with lid and let it sit the refrigerator for 2-3 hours until it does not feel doughy.

1. Using a stainless steel bench scraper to cut into bars to desired size.
