Nissan Keyless Entry Enable Disable Horn Chirp

Video tutorial on how to enable or disable the horn chirp on a Nissan intelligent key fob. So this is an extremely easy procedure, no tools are required and you don’t need to take your vehicle to the dealer. All you need is your key fob. This particular vehicle I am working with is a 2016 Nissan Murano.

Tools/Supplies Needed:

• Nissan intelligent key fob

As you can see, the chirp is currently activated. To disable the feature, hold the lock and unlock button simultaneously for about 3 seconds. The parking lights will flash 3 times to indicate the procedure was successful.

Now the horn chirp is currently deactivated. To enable to horn chirp again, hold the lock and unlock buttons at the same time for about 3 seconds. The horn will chirp and the parking lights will flash twice once the change is successful.
