In this Instructable, I'll be going over how I made my Nes shadowbox it easy it only takes some time to cute out all the boxes . I chose my favorite game boxes from Nintendo the black box series , i made the Pal B versions of the boxes.

All you need is a scissor, Photo paper, Printer , superglue and a frame i use a old IKEA frame i had to spare.

The total cost was less then 25$.

Start by downloading the art you like to use i fund my art HERE

After you have the art you like to use you print it i used the preset option in Windows see the pictures AND MAKE SURE TO UNCHECKED THE BOX AS SHOWN IN THE PICTURES.

OTHERWISE the boxes wont print correct.

when all boxes are printed on to 4A photo paper its time to cute them out TAKE YOUR TIME :).

If you cut the boxes crooked you WILL end up whit a box that is lop-sided after you glued them together.

Make the Cuts, Creases, Fold and Glue the Boxes.

After you have cutout the box if you haven't made the two small cuts at the top now is the time .

I have made a picture that shows how to make the two small cuts and how to fold the box together.

The picture also shows the two places that you put the glue on i use super-glue.

You can make small crease on the backside of the box along the dotted line (shown on the picture i made) it makes it easier to get straight folds when you fold the boxes!

Make all the folds before you start to glue it much easier than trying to fold the glued box.

Glue on the two pleases shown on the picture DON`T TAKE TO MUCH 2-3 DROPS THAT YOU SPREED OUT WILL DO FINE.

BE CAREFUL AND IF YOU USE SUPER-GLUE MAKE SURE TO HAVE GOOD VENTILATION!!!!

I put together the frame and the backside whiteout the glass in the front.

That way I could place the boxes in the way i liked them much easier! I didn't measured so mine are not exact.

But i think the look pretty dam good!

I use the same glue as for the boxes to glue the boxes to the backside.

And i printed out two 4A papers with the text BLACK BOX SERIES in red and put it on top of the boxes.

After you have glued all the boxes in place take the backside of from the frame and put the glass back in the frame.

MAKE SURE TO CLEAN THE GLASS BEFORE YOU PUT THE BACKSIDE WITH THE BOXES BACK IN TO THE FRAME !!!

I used a hot glue gun to seal my frame and backside and to hold it all together, But it will work with super-glue to i only ran out of that :)

I HOPE YOU LIKE IT LET ME KNOW IF YOU NEED HELP OR HAVE TIPS AND IDEAS!
