Ninja Climbing Claws
Used for climbing and scaling trees. Hooks can dig into the bark and strengthen your grip. I'm sure these were also used in fighting to strip enemies of their weapons or even to just injure them with the sharp spikes.
This wasn't a last minute thing, in a way I take my hobbies very seriously. I'm very picky on what materials I plan to use. A lot of thought went into this project to make the materials as durable as possible, cost effective, and functional.
Completion Time
1 - 2 hours depending on how many tape layers you apply
* at least 24 for the J-B weld to harden *
Cost
Depends on what you already have at your disposal
If you have no materials , but honestly I'm sure every home has a roll of duct tape
J-B Weld $ 4.00
Hooks .25 x 6 = $ 1.50
Miscellaneous Metal $ ?.??
Rough Estimate Price Range $6 - $8

Materials List / Tools Needed
Materials List:
* Duct Tape
* 1 in. Metal Plate Cut to Palm Width
* Hook and Eyes # 8 Screw Hooks
* J-B Weld
* Paracord
* Hot Glue
Tools Needed:
* Dremel Tool
- Metal Cutting Attachment
- Grinding Stone Attachment
* Hot Glue Gun
Measure and Cut the Metal Plate
First step is cutting the 1 inch metal plate similar to the size of your palm. Use the Metal cutting attachment and the Dremel for this step. Use a sharpie and ruler to draw a straight line onto the metal plate. Use this as a guide when using the Dremel tool to get the best results.
Cut Screw Hooks to Size
Second use the Dremel cutting attachment to modify the hooks as seen in the picture below. The angle is and estimate, your trying to add a point to the end of your hooks. Shorten the end of the hook by completely cutting of the screw portion of the hook.
* Use the picture as a guide, cut where the red lines intersect the Screw hook. The above image is the finished hook spike.
J-B Weld Hooks to Metal Plate
Use a ruler and pencil to make the markings as shown. They are 2 inches apart.
Next mix equal portions of the J-B weld and apply it to the hook as shown in the 2nd picture.
Place the modified hooks on the lines as shown and secure them using duct tape. Try to keep the hooks as straight as possible. Let the J-B Weld dry over night, also be sure to periodically check the hooks within the first few hours to be sure that they don't shift. Once the J-B Weld has hardened its almost impossible to correct any mistakes so be careful

Duct Taping Process
Basically Duct tape is very self explanatory.
1 ) Start off with just a thin band of tape going around your palm and the dried Hooks and Metal Plat ( The Rig )
2) Then take more thin bands and wrap around The Rig vertically. Be sure to reinforce this very well, it ill be one of the most important parts.
3). Estimate the distance from the 2 middle gaps to your wrist, Cut 2 thin strips of tape double that length and add 1 inch to that length. The extra inch will be used to secure the Paracord. Reinforce with multiple layers of tape.
4) Reinforce those 2 strand with normal width pieces to fill in the gap.
5) Next refer to the pictures to see how to attach the paracord, fairly simple, like rolling a tube of toothpaste :D
6) Apply 1 last final full width strip to the entire length (from wrist to the top of The Rig)
