Nightstand From 50's to Now

Travel in time with your old furniture
Find It

You may find something old on craigslist (aka leboncoin.fr in France) or in your family. Mine is from my wife's grandmother.
Take It Apart
Depending on your table design it will be more or less easier. Don't be lazy, paint coverage will be much better with everything disassembled.
Remove the Polish

No secret there; the sander first and tiny corners with sandpaper.
Tips : to get screws and hinges brand new, dip it in a bucket of acetone for the night and rub it to remove old polish.

Paint It / Re-assemble It

Classic Paintjob:
- universal primary layer
- two deep blue acrylic layers
Assemble it back, enjoy.
