Hello Everyone and welcome to my new instructable. I will be showing you how to make a decorative glass night lamp. There are some additional steps too that you can follow to make it more beautiful. So let's get started. First of all here is the list of items you will need-

1. A glass Jar (I found a nestle nescafe perfect)

2. A switch

3. An Led (any color, it doesn't matter)

4. A CR2032 cell and holder

5. Wires

Tools you will need are-

1. Soldering iron

2. Glue gun

3. A pin to make holes or a drill.

Let's Get Started

Let's start off by making 2 holes on the lid to fix an L.E.D. Fix the LED in such a way that the legs are above the lid and the diode is under the lid.

Soldering

Solder the wires as shown above to make them all connect. Once done, you can proceed to the next step. Now using the glue gun fix the components carefully so that wires do not get detached.

Operating It.

Fill the jar upto brim such that the led doesn't get into the water. After filling it, close the lid, and switch on to see the beautiful magic. It is complete upto this step, but you can proceed to next optional steps too.

Optional Step

Magic Jar

You can add 2 tablespoons of glycerin in the water and some glitter or sparkle and fix a miniature sculpture at the bottom of jar, and then light it up. Sorry, I have not done this as I like it the way in previous step, so I could not upload images. But it can be modified as per your choice. Be sure not to shake the jar while the lid is on as the water may damage the circuit.

Thank You
