Newish Uses for Used Velcro Straps

In order to walk my dogs, I needed to first get them a suitable harness, which I got easily. One small problem. The Velcro straps on both harnesses has become loose and my dogs have gotten bigger! So, as a response I got New Velcro from a old costume my brother had and used that as a substitute and a way to have them at a bigger capacity.

Get your dog harnesses out and place them upon a flat surface.

In order to actually get Velcro straps we first need something that has it attached to it. Get out something you don’t use or were considering throwing away that has some Velcro straps on it, and then rip them off. In my example I got them off a police costume. After that place them on the same surface the harnesses are on.

All you need to do now is strap the Velcro on and congratulations you’ve gotten harnesses with a slightly bigger capacity.
