New Lampshade for Vintage Lamp

At a flew market I found a pretty ugly lamp which a decided to reuse. I first took of the old lampshade and colored with paint the base. I also took off the fabric from the lampshade and colored the metalic structure beneath. Then I bought some new fabric and a sheet of trasparent plastic which should be resistent but flexible
Adding the Lampshade

With hot glue I fixed the plastic on the metal structure of the lampshade and covered the plastic with the fabric. Therefore I used a spray glue. Turning the fabric around the metal structure at the bottom and the top of the lampshade will give additional support
