Nail Designs

If you want easy-to-do nail designs then this is the perfect tutorial for you. One colour nails can get a little boring so to make them stand out from the crowd, heres a simple but pretty nail design.

First clean your nails, get rid of any old nail polish that remains on them and push your cuticles back if needed.

Now file your nails to the shape of your choice, i would recommend a square shape because it looks better in my opinion but round looks pretty too.

After you have cleaned and filed your nails its time to paint your first colour onto your nail, just as you would normally do.

Take out your tape.

After your nails have dried, take a 4-9 cm piece of tape and stick it on and off clothing to reduce the stickiness, wrap it round your nail and finger from the bottom left corner to the top right corner of your nail.

Take a second colour and paint the side with no tape on. It doesn't matter if the polish gets onto the tape, thats what its there for.

Peel away the tape slowly, wait for it to dry and apply a clear top coat.
