What was sought for this project was a prototype which consisted in supporting the fall of an egg, and at the time of being launched, at the time of reaching solid ground, the egg was not exploded, the prototype meets the expectations raised since it was tested at the time of being made.

Supplies

The following materials were needed for the elaboration of the project:

- Masking tape

- Elastic bands

- Straws

- Scissors

Base Structure

Cut 24 straws of 19.7. With those 24 we will make 4 beams of 6 sticks glued as follows

Making the Cube

4.jpg

Cut 48 straws of 20 cm, we will join them in the same way in which we joined the first one, thus forming a cube, which will be our structure in which it will support the fall.

The Star

We made 7 triangles of 3 straws glued on each side and at the end we joined them together, we crossed the triangles in such a way as to form a star. We are going to join the points of our star with rubber bands and at the end we cover the star with ribbon.

The Cross

In this part of the structure, we placed crosses in both bases, a beam at the symmetrical level of the whole structure for support at the moment of impact and a beam as external support so that the rubber bands are held securely and a beam as external support so that the rubber bands are held securely was placed in this way to apply pressure from both sides, leaving the egg in the center and help at the time of the blow to avoid the greater inertia that would hit the ground.

The End

Attach the star to the two crosses with garters number 18, in such a way that it is "held in the air".
