In this project we are going to show you how to make a NCF bracelet. With this bracelet you can easily transfer information to a smartphone ore other NFC devices. The nice thing with this bracelet is that you can add more functions by adding more NFC tags!

Preperation

What do we need:

- Two NFC tags ( we used Sony tags as seen in the picture )

- A smartphone with NFC function

- 3D printer

- 3D model of a bracelet

Measure Your Arm

Try to find the right dimensions of your bracelet to measure the width and height of your wrist.

After you have your dimensions you can start designing. We used Solid Works to design our bracelet. Make sure you leave space for the Sony NFC tags.

You also can download our design here.

Print Your Model

NFC Set Up

Now the bracelet is done, it is time to use the Tags. By turning on your NFC on your smartphone it is now ready to communicate with the bracelet.

Put the bracelet to your smartphone and wait till something is happening. Our tags redericted us to an app download in Google Play ( Smart Connect ). With this app it is possible to write actions to that specific Sony Tag.

We put a link to the website of our university www.tudelft.nl on one tag

and on the other we wrote the action to share a phone number.

Now your bracelet is ready to use!
