NES Meta Knight Statue
I had to create something for a final project, so I looked around being bored as usual and saw an unusual sprite that I found and that is the NES Sprite of Meta Knight from Kirby's Adventure. I looked around for findings of references and images to see how it would have been like as a 3D Model. Simple, it is but I turned it into a model for a test of my creative efforts with Blender and turn this project into a reality. and see what another 3D projects that wait for my imaginative brain.
Supplies
As I said in the introduction, I have used these references to show what I am making. traversing tab to tab, can be annoying at times so as an alternative. I would download these images and insert them to the Blender workspace, because of this I got my time saved and got some free time on my own.
Download/Open Blender
So, for the first step download Blender, you can look for it online or if you already installed Month's ago, then you are pretty much set for action. if you are advanced enough or know the workspace of Blender then you can skip this step and move to the next one.
Get Images of Source
Onto step 2, it's obvious you need references to make the model itself. It's not hard unless there's barely a source to find the image or video of the source. for a last resort use a video at any cost because it might be helpful to show what it is in game or as a showcase. And since Meta Knight is just a sphere it's REALLY easy to know how to make him, same with the mask part.
Body Parts
Finally, on step 3, for the part of the body is mainly a sphere (same with the mask) but, the feet were done by addon's in the Blender space. Again, it's fairly easy, I just copied and paste 2 Spheres and 2 Cubes to create the or shoes of the model itself, it really explains how easily of the types of 3D modeling can be a breeze or rather lonesome.
The Sword (Optional)
You can say this is step 3.5 but, I would call it step 4 for now. as for the sword again really easy to show off, since for beginners in blender should start with creating Melee weapons or gun's because it's essential of the source. here when i was introduced back into blender I made the Monado Blade II from Xeno blade Chronicles .
Finished Design
Alright after step 4 of finishing the Sword, then got everything done for now. Again, there is an alternative option, but our main focus is to create textures. right now, there's a video here explaining Texture Paint it will be helpful and also creating less time because again this is only a simple build of a model.
Final Product
Finally, this is the finished product is here, I am glad it turned out like this. overall, it is simple and a little sleek it's still a good effort to come by, I could add finishing touches but this is supposed to be short so that can be step 7 if you want. Again, really good, and I like how this turned out, maybe I could showcase more in the future.
