Everyone knows that NERF wars is fun. Also everyone knows that they need tips. In this instructable there is more tips, more instructions, and ways to increase the chance of winning!

You will need a NERF blaster or a big variety of NERF blasters. The ones I prefer for Snipers is the Longstrike CS-6, Longshot CS-6, Night Finder EX-1, Recon CS-6, Deploy CS-6, and Raider CS-35. The list will go on if your a NERF geek.
How to Be a Sniper
In most NERF wars, my favorite position is the Sniper. The good blaster to start out with is the Longstrike CS-6. You have to mod it. Don't strech the spring, this will break the tension of the spring (shortening the life of it). Simply take apart the blaster and take the air restrictors out. Never done it before? Well, it's simple. What I do is I take needle nose pliers and twisting it out. This way you don't damage anything, but if you can't even reach it then you'll have to hammer it out. To start, simply draw a circle or a specific shape. Then draw a smaller circle in it or a smaller specific shape in it. Then standing or lying 15 feet away from it try to shoot at the target. No, you will not always hit the bullseye everytime like in the movie. Try not to always use the scope. Always tilt the blaster's barrel upward for short range firing. I only suggest the scope or sight on the top of something like a tree, stairway, or anything else high up. Sometimes, if you want to be a professional Sniper, then try aiming practice without using a sight, scope, or red dot sight. If you are outside then you must know the wind. If you shoot exactly at the target and there is wind, then your dart is going to curve. If the wind is blowing left then you tilt the barrel right, right then the barrel left, towards you then the barrel upward, and whent he wind is pointing where your pointing then aim exactly at your target. Practice your aiming daily or once every two days.
How to Be a Submachine Gunner
For this I suggest the Raider CS-35 or the Alpha Trooper CS-18. Motorized giant blasters I advise for other positions in a war. I mainly suggest the Alpha Trooper the most becuase if you leave the darts in the clip for a number of months, the magazine will eventually not work and jam your blaster. The Alpha Trooper holds only 18 darts. Again to bonus your range, remove the air restrictors. To target practice like a real Submachine Gunner, simply draw 3-5 targets. Just draw one big circle on each. Tape them on the walls of the room, but have them in random places. Try to shoot each one three times. To do this quickly and become a crazy good Submachine Gunner, try to shoot all of them in 30 seconds. Try this with someone. Have them run around the room without a blaster and try to hit them as much as you can using one full magazine. Then do that again, but the person now has a blaster too. Try this with them and the person should have a different blaster each time to know what techniques for every blaster. Practice and participate in lots of wars and eventually you will become a professional Submachine Gunner.
How to Be a Rifleman
This is a simple position to be in. For the rifle I suggest the Recon CS-6, The Fury Fire REV-10, Deploy CS-6, and any other far shooting blaster. Repeating, you will have to remove air restrictors for bonus range. Next, for target practice, set standing up objects on a desk, table, or any platform to put them on. I shoot army men off a table. Now standing 20 feet away, shoot at them, Keep doing this until you can shoot every object off without running out of ammo. Next, shooting moving targets, For this, get your parents (if they're not old), and make them run back and forth 15 feet in front of you and see how many times can you hit them. Now give them pistols. Now practice the same game, but now your in NERF combat. Try to shoot them. Try not to get shot. Now it's time to crank up the heat. Now give them a Submachine Gun NERF blaster. Now try. try to shoot them as much as you can until they run out of ammo. You should at least hit them 5-10 times. Now this is a good position for stationary defense. Mainly, hiding in blunkers. To be an excellent rifleman NERF defender, I prefer the Dart Tag Blasters for their easy mobility, Range, and quick fire ways.
Other Tips
Those motorized blasters are left. Mainly the Stampede EBF-18 is good for attack and defense. The Vulcan EBF-25 is for defense. The Barricade Is good for either offense and defense. The Tommy 20 is excellent for defense. I mainly suggest the Dart Tag blasters for defense for they're easy to load unique ways and for they're quick fire and range. I recommend the Night Finder EX-1 for a secondary of a Sniper. Hope you win your next NERF war!!!
