My Survival Pack Project
This is my survival pack for camping, hiking, and what not; that I have been putting together one piece at a time. This is what I've got so far.
Choosing a Bag
I chose this bag because it had a built in hydration pack, the only problem is that it's smaller than I thought it was going to be when I ordered it.

- Nalgene Bottle

Hammock
- Eno Double Nest Hammock
- 2 15ft pieces of polyester tubular webbing(for suspension)
For my hammock I use webbing for suspension. This allows me to tie the loops for the hammock at any distance I want, where as Eno Slapstraps have pre-sewed loops to hook into. Both have their own advantages. The webbing is cheaper, and because you can tie the knots at any position on the rope; the trees you use to tie off can be at any distance and you can better adjust the slack in your hammock. Eno Slapstraps are have the loops already on them so all you have to do is loop them around a tree and you're good to go.
I made my straps by taking 2 15ft pieces of webbing and tying a loop at the end of it using a water knot. To see how to tie a water knot check out the video.
