Music Recording Studio
I decided to make a Music Studio because I like listening to music and was given inspiration from friends to make this. This room is currently just a storage space that holds Halloween and Christmas decorations during the other seasons. This room is about 17' x 8'8" x 9'. This room is located at the bottom of the stairs and the closet in the room is under the stairs which makes it unique. The image that illustrates an exterior building represents the upper level as viewed from the front.
Supplies
- Autodesk Revit 2025
As Built
As shown above the current room is filled with many things and has plenty of space but it is being wasted to hold decorations and random things.
Renderings--As Intended
I looked at floor plans and made the room with all the units as close as possible to what is actually there. I then decided to make 2 of the exact same buildings to get a comparison for what the room look liked before versus after this new design took place.
Concept-precedence
I can across a perfect room for this project right in my own house. This basement room is not being used to its full potential. I got inspiration from friends and decided to make a music studio. Although this is a small room I knew it had potential for big things. The image shown here is a similar space for precedence.
CAD Model
I got all the furniture and resources I would need to design this room. After that, I got everything into place and made everything look perfect.
Reflection
By the end of this project I learned that even small rooms we don't think about can be used for many other things besides just storage or something useless. Utilizing every square foot of a house is important and can even inspire us to try and do new thing. Although I had a few struggles I powered through it and it was definitely worth it.
