Make the Box

Materials Needed:
- Some board (wood, plastic, or cardboard)
- A4 paper
- Ruler
- Glue
- (Optional) Sound sensor and light string for additional features
Tools Needed:
- Scissors or a utility knife
- Measuring tape or ruler
- Pencil
Instructions:
- Measure and Cut the Board:
- Using the ruler and a pencil, mark out the dimensions of the box on the board. You will need six pieces:
- Two pieces of 47 cm x 20 cm (for the top and bottom)
- Two pieces of 47 cm x 11 cm (for the long sides)
- Two pieces of 20 cm x 11 cm (for the short sides)
- Carefully cut out these pieces using scissors or a utility knife.
- Assemble the Box:
- Lay out the pieces to form the box. Start by gluing the two long sides (47 cm x 11 cm) to the short sides (20 cm x 11 cm), forming the box’s structure. Use glue along the edges where the pieces meet.
- Allow the glue to dry completely before proceeding to the next step.
- Attach the Top and Bottom:
- Once the sides are dry and secure, glue the top and bottom pieces (47 cm x 20 cm) to the open sides of the structure. Make sure the pieces are aligned properly and secure them with glue.
