Mushroom Do Pyaza Curry

-Mushroom do pyaza is famous indian restaurant curry served with some jeera(cumin) rice or naan or even with plain basmati rice.

-Curry is colorful due to tomatoes and onions and is also rich in flavour with spices.

Ingredients:

-One and half cup mushrooms

-2 sliced onions

-3 tomatoes

-one tsp cumin seeds

-1 or 2 cardamom

-ginger garlic paste

-Pinch of turmeric powder

- one tbsp coriander powder

- one tsp Garam masala powder

-Red chilli powder

-salt as per taste

-Butter

-Two teaspoon milk or fresh cream

-Coriander leaves to garnish

-First step is to get ready with all ingredients. cut onion slices thin and long.
Even clean mushrooms and cut them in to slices .(I used tin mushrooms which are already cooked). If using fresh mushrooms clean them properly and cut in to slices.

-Take tomatoes in blender and blend to puree.

Take a vessel and add butter to it. You can add even few tsp of oil.
-When better melts add cumin seeds.when they splutter add crushed cardamom to it.

Sauteing:

-Next add sliced onions add saute until they slightly change color.

-Add ginger garlic paste to it and cook until you get rid of raw smell of ginger.

Add Blended Tomato Puree

- After onions are cooked.Next add blended tomato puree and give a mix

Add All Spices

-Then add all spices coriander powder,red chilli powder,garam masala,turmeric powder, salt and mix properly

Add Mushrooms

-Add sliced mushrooms and saute for few seconds. Then close the lid and cook for few minutes until mushrooms are properly cooked(if using fresh mushrooms instead of tin mushrooms close the lid and cook them for few minutes)

Add Fresh Cream or Milk

-Last step is to add fresh cream or 2 tsp milk.

-Finally garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or naan
