Multiple Size Ukulele Stand (Recycled Wood)pictures
Multiple Size Ukulele Rack This project is heverly inspired by "PVC Multi Ukulele Stand" By Doctroid, I am using one of his picture as well.
Recycled Wood
For this project, I used recycled wood from an old wooden pallet. Some people will try and sell pallets but don't buy them. There are so many old pallets that are free. I got the pallet I am using here from an Office Works, the best thing to do is go to where the bins are and pick them up. Don't take the red or blue pallets they usually are reused and quite often have a toxic paint.
Then all you need is a crowbar and disassemble the pallet, take the nails out and be careful not to get scratched.
This video may help. Not mine work, this video is from SPE on Youtube.

Cut Wood to Size and Drill Holes
The measurement picture is from Doctroid.
Cut the wood down, 2 pieces of to 16", 3 pieces of X the size you want I used 39" and 2 thick blocks 6 3/4". Clamp stand together, after drilling and screwed the stand together unscrew the stand.
Note
While disassembling the stand I added corresponding symbols on pieces that are drilled together.
Sanding
Sand wood back, you can sand for as long as you want. I like seeing the imperfections of the wood, so I just sand it back till you can run your hand over the wood and not get splinters. Wipe the wood down to get off any sawdust that is left.
Add Decoration and Beeswax
Add decoration, I used sharpies but you can use whatever works for you. Stains and paints go wield and have fun, whatever you use let dry before adding a finish. The finish I used is a Beeswax and olive oil mix, it makes the wood soft, brings out the natural beauty of the wood and is also chemically safe.
Assemble
Glue and screw the pieces together, leave to dry and you are finished.
