1 x DVD player casing (top panel)
2 x 3D printed handle halves
Tools and additional material required:
Sandpaper, band saw, vice, file, marker, paper
Surface Preparation
Sand down the paint from both sides of the sheet metal until bare metal can be seen.
Cut to Shape
Place template of knife over metal, draw an outline and then cut out with a band saw.
Preparing Blade
Smooth out rough edges with a file and then begin to sharpen blade area with sandpaper.
Refining Blade
Cut gripping spikes with band saw and continue sharpening blade with file until fully sharp.
Gluing Handles
After mixing well, apply Araldite onto one surface of the blade, and then attached one side of the handle. Wait 10-20 minutes for glue to set until repeating step on other side.
