Multi-core Exercise Game From Arduino

Multi-core Exercise Game from Arduino

This is a machine with three games that not only entertains us but trains our core as well. Let's develop a good habit of exercising together!

What's the game?

Game 1: Piano Tiles (flutter kicks training your core)

Game 2: Subway Surfers (agility and jumping training your lower body)

Game 3: Rodeo Stampede: Sky Zoo Safari (superman training your back, glutes, and hamstring)

Supplies

For all 3 games-

  • Arduino Leonardo/Uno
  • Laptop/ computer
  • Breadboard
  • Wires (male-female & male-male)
  • Laser-cut wood & laser cutter (optional/ use paper board instead)
  • Wood glue
  • 3 LED lights
  • 3 pushbuttons
  • Soldering tools
  • Non-conductive tape

Game 1-

  • Copper foil tape
  • Regular tape
  • Scissors
  • 8 alligator clip wire

Game 2-

  • 4 ultrasonic sensors
  • Clay (or glue gun)

Game 3-

  • 2 light sensors

Gluing the Box

  • Wood glue is recommended, but a glue gun can be used as well.
  • You can use paper tape to help fix it.

  1. On one side, stick the two boards together with regular tape as tight as possible, a big one with a small one. Only tape one side of the board because the board has to be able to be flipped up when kicked.
  2. With the copper foil tape, tape on the same side as the regular tape. And the different pieces of tape must be overlapped for it to conduct electricity.
  3. For the longer board on the top, tape the copper foil tape the same way as step 2.
  4. Stuck the boards in the gaps and add extra pieces of copper foil tape to the board's edges as shown in the video.

Soldering Buttons

  1. Heat the part you need to solder.
  2. Add the solder and let it melt.
  3. Wait for a few seconds for it to cool down.
  4. After it's cooled, tape the solder around with the non-conductive tape.

  • For the LED, buttons, and sensors, male-female wires are needed for extension
  • The ultrasonic sensor from left to right in the picture should be placed as: left, down, up, right
  • The order for the LED lights, buttons, and alligator clips are corresponding to the picture
  • Buttons: 3 bigger holes on the top
  • LED: 3 smaller holes in front of the buttons
  • Ultrasonic sensors: holes around the sides
  • Light sensors: two thinner holes on the top
  • Alligator clips: clip to the board with copper foil tape
