Multi Media Apron

This is an intruction how to sew a Multi Media Apron like I made for the Sew Useful contest.

Material List:
- Cotton fabric
- Thread
- Hoop and loop tape
- Scissors, Sewing machine, Iron

Fold the fabric in the middle and cut out following pieces:

1 apron
2 pockets and a small pocket for MP3 player if needed
2 long ribbons, width about 4"
1 border for the apron
2 borders for the lower pocket

Fold and iron the pocket borders for sewing. Do this also with the apron borders.

Sew the borders right on right to the apron and to the pocket. Cut out little triangels in the curves in order to reverse the parts easier. Turn and iron. Sew the borders from the right side.

Then sew the pockets on the apron, fold both apron and pockets in the middle to positionate them correctly.

Fold the ribbons twice, widtc about 1" when ready and sew on along both sides.

Cut one ribbon in 2 pieces for the ties. Check the length of the neckholder and cut.

Cut also a short ribbon for you lanyard keyholder. Place it near to the lower pocket so that the keys can be put into the pocket too.

Sew all ribbons to to the apron.

If you like hearing music, make a separate pocket for your MP3 player. Place it onto the upper pocket and use loop and hook tape for the closure. It enables you to use your MP3 player easily.

Put on your new apron. You will see how useful it will be - you`ll never need to search after your phone, keys, scissors, whatever.

- Floral prints for garden lovers
- calico for quilters
- animal prints...

Create your own. You won´t understand, how you did cope without before.
