Mug Tracker

IMG_4422.JPG

Do you ever spend time looking for your coffee mug that you left somewhere? You don't have to worry anymore. This little gadget holds an AirTag to your mug so your searching days are over.

Note: If you don't have a 3D printer this Instructable is not for you. However I don't want to discourage you from making your own cool tracking device.

Fix to Correct Size

First you will want to measure your mug. Since every mug is unique you will want to get the right size for the ring. I have included two STL files. One is the ring and the other is the holder. You will want to change the ring to fit your mug. You can do this on your slicer or a different program. After this is done you can print them.

Glue

Now that you have printed the parts you can glue them together. I used super glue but I imagine most other glues would work.

Congratulations! You finished. I hope you had fun. This is designed to track your mug so I hope it works for you. WARNING: Please remove this device before microwaving your coffee. This would not be a fun experience so I encourage you to heed my advice. Thank you, and I hope you had fun.
