Mouth Stitched Shut

This project for holloween was one of my favorites but aggravating at the same time due to not being able to eat lol. Bit was lots of fun doing up the family for death day.

I started with a thin layer of lotion as a release agent for the latex . Then applied a thin layer of latex and topped it with tissue creating wrinkles for a skin like look, then added more latex and tissue doing the same wrinkle effect. Then I rolled tissue in latex to create the stitches and applied to the mask let it dry and added laytex about 4 more times on top of the previous etc.. til it was to my liking thickness wise. Once dry I removed the mask and did makeup.

After removal of the mask when dried I added at the makeup. I used 4 different varieties of blood for the effects to look more realistic. Then the night of our party I did the blending and contacts for the final results.
