Mounting a Scope on a Nerf Strongarm

The Nerf Strongarm is one of the best blasters in Nerf's new elite lineup. It is well-balanced, fast, easy to use, and capable of reaching up to 100 feet! With all of this range, it is sometimes difficult to see where your dart has gone after firing, so it is necessary to add a scope. Adding a scope will not only improve the guns performance, but it will also make the gun more intimidating.

You will need: a Nerf Strongarm, a gun scope, flat rectangular pieces of plastic, two rubber pen grips, a small crosshead (phillips) screwdriver, a hot glue gun, and some hot glue.

First, take the two plastic pieces and stack them. Next, slide the pen grips on. Cut off any excess rubber.

Unscrew the screws on the scope mounting grips.

Add the attachment base between the grips. Make sure it is centered. Finally, re-tighten the screws on the scope grips. The base should feel snug.

Test to see if the base will fit on the slide of the Strongarm. If it does not, cut off any excess material from the base. Next, add glue down the center of the Strongarm slide. Then, attach the scope to the gun, with the base glued to the slide. As you wait for the glue to cool, look through the scope and make sure its facing straight towards the front of the gun.
