Mountainboard Heelstraps

How to make heelstraps for you mountainboard. theese give you a more snowboard like feel.

Supplies

All you need for this is:
-Mountainboard
-Shoe
-Pair of new shoelaces (round)
-Duct tape
-Scizzors

Align Shoe

Put you foot (with shoe) in your binding, In the place you want it to be while riding. Slip you foot out and leave she shoe in.

Tying the Shoelace

Take the shoelace, and feed it through the hole, between the shoe and binding on both sides, looping it around the heel.

OK, so now, you loop the shoelace tips back over the sides of the binding, and tie it in the back, just as tight as you would want for riding. Knot it 2-4 times, for added strength(you want this is to hold). Then cut off the extra lace behind the knot.

Starting the Strap.

Start by making a peice of duct take 11 inches in length. then fold it over itself, covering all the sticky parts. then cut it off the roll, and place between the heel and shoelace.

Tape the Laces Down

Now cut a strip of duct tape 5 1/2 inches, and put this over the shoelace and the ductape from the previous step.

Reinforcement

Now undo your binding strap and take the new heelstrap off. it should look like the pic below.
then reinforce the strap by winding a nother strip or two of duct tape around the strap.

Now you are done.
Repeat all steps for the back binding.

now you have easaly removable heel straps for your mountainboard.
