Motor Vibrator for Alarm Clock
As long as I hate waking up because of an annoying beep I decided to recycle some old electric brushed motors.
The hole project include a real time clock with alarms. Just replace the buzzer with one (or more) of these.
Remember that an Arduino board (For example) can't supply enough current for the motor. So you should use a transistor or something like that. If you need more information I'll write some more about this, explaining how to calculate current absorption and what components need to be use and how.

Ok, to generate vibrations we need to attach to the axis of the motors something like a flywheel so when the motor will turn the bad balance will produce vibrations.
What you need:
-Dc Motors
-Terminals (See pictures)
-Cardboard tube (other materials like PVC are fine too)
-Screwdriver
-Black tape
-Scissors
-Kitchen knife

Let's Begin
take your motor, take the terminal and with the screwdriver unscrew until the terminal could be filled by the motor axis. Then screw it again so it can't slip.
Now take the tube and just cut a piece from it (longer 1-2cm longer than the motor and his shaft) see the picture below.
And then try to fill the motor inside the cutted tube. If you need more thickness use some black tape as I did.

Fill the tube with the motor and then close the two ends with the tape. And you're done. remember to keep the two wires out of the tube because you'll need them to make the motor work :)
