A nice, easy fun origami project. Try to use colorful, smooth, glazed paper for optimal results. You will need 8 sheets of square origami paper.

I used two sheets of origami paper and divided them into fourths. This would probably be best if your planning on making a two colored star like I am.

Take one piece of paper and fold it in half. Unfold it so the color that you do not want to show faces you. Fold two triangles (as you would in a paper plane) to the center line. Then fold the model in half. With the opening of the paper facing down, take the upper right corner and fold it down to the center of the bottom. Unfold and tuck this corner into the model. Flatten out the paper. You have made one unit. Repeat this with the rest of the sheets.

Fitting the Pieces Together

Fit two units together as shown, with one unit in between the two flaps of the other. Tuck in the top point of the first unit into the second one.

Continue in this fashion until the star is finished.

Enjoy your star :).
