Morning Bread Rolls for Lazy Bakers
These bread rolls are super easy to make, and require only minutes of actual work. Make the dough in the evening, bake in the morning, and breakfast is ready.
What You'll Need
6dl cold water.
10-15 g fresh yeast or one teaspoon dry yeast.
2 tea spoons salt.
2 tea spoons sugar or honey.
300 g rye flour.
480 g wheat flour.
Knife
Bowl
Measuring cup
Oven
We use cold water for the yeast, because we want it to start slowly as the dough heats to room temperature. After all, we don't need it to be ready before morning. You can of course use other combinations of flour, or just go for pure wheat if you prefer.

Mix It All and Go to Sleep.
Yepp. It really is that easy.
Dissolve the yeast in the water and mix the water with the flour and sugar. No kneading needed.
Cover the bowl with some cling film, a plastic bag or a wax cloth, and put a towel over to make it nice and cozy for the yeast.
Now you can crawl into bed and let the yeast do its thing until morning.

Slice and Bake
When you get up in the morning, put the oven on at 250°C. Spread some flour on a surface of your choise, and tip the dough out of its resting place. Pat it flat with your hands to roughly 2 cm thickness and slice it up with a knife or a pizza wheel. Put the pieces on a baking tray. If you wish, brush a little water on and sprincle with sunflower seeds.
Put the tray in the oven and turn the heat down to 225°C. Bake for aproximately 12 minutes.
Now you are ready for a nice breakfast. Enjoy.
