Grind & Cut
Before starting to cook prepare garlic, green chillies, onions and chicken by grinding the garlic and green chillies to a paste ,cut the onions in to small cubes and the chicken also in to small pieces.
Cook Chicken
Temper the garlic in a little bit of hot oil until it becomes a bit brown in colour and you can smell the garlic aroma ,then throw in the chopped chicken and cook on slow fire.Keep it covered. My chicken pieces look big isn't it? Yes I cut them too big :(
Add Onions
Ha! here you see the chicken pieces are smaller.I have cut them again into small pieces.. Half way through cooking process throw in the cubed onions and cook on slow fire until the onions are half done.
Sauce
In the mean time make the white sauce by mixing a little milk and corn flour together ,warm the remaining milk and add the corn flour liquid to the milk and stir a little until it slightly thickens.
Add Sauce
Pour the sauce to the chicken, stir, and throw in the green chillie paste and pepper powder..Cook until the the entire sauce thickens and the chicken is well cooked.
Dough
Boil the water, add butter ( Now on slow fire) when it is melted add all the flour at once and stir very well on slow fire.Let it simmer for a while until it thickens.Keep stiring. Then knead well with the hand mixer using the kneading hook.
Roll Cut Shape
Roll out the dough, using a cup or a glass cut in to small rounds ,keep the chicken filling in the middle and fold into two and press them together. Not necessary to apply egg around the edges to paste.Using your hands shape them to form a moon :)
Coating
In this step it is great if there is some one to help you.Poor me I had to do it alone .Using a fork slightly mix the egg. With one hand roll the moon pastry in the egg,and tranfer it to the bread crumbs,With the other dry hand coat the moon pastry with the breadcrumbs.
Half way through I had to wash hands to take photos..
