After closing sandwiches cut them in 1/4.
Rotate 90 degrees and place 3 picks per slice.
Cut sandwiches around picks. You'll end up with 12 mini sandwiches per sandwich.
Make sure pick goes thru a little so the minis don't fall apart.

Setup your station like mine.
Set burner on mid-high and add oil.
!!! If you don't want to deep fry these try clarified butter or simply in a pan with some coating spray !!!

Coat your minis with batter using a brush or spoon. Place in pan and cook on all sides.
Don't hesitate to flip them too early, you can always cook them a little more. You're looking to get the batter cooked a little bit and mostly have the cheese melted while the bread is still soft. Can't use beer batter for that reason (it will harden the bread).

Enjoy !

Use powdered sugar as topping and a little currant jelly as dip.
