Monster Game Made Out of Tissue Boxes
This is a Halloween themed game made out of empty tissue boxes. But you can also use them as Halloween decorations! I'm always saving stuff for crafts like toilet paper rolls, tissue boxes, ect. So if you 're crafty like me, it just takes some brainstorming and you might come out with something awesome or fun! There are also 4 different hidden faces in the various pictures.
The object of the game is to try to throw as many ping pong balls into the monsters.
Supplies
1 to 3 empty tissue boxes
1 to 3 toilet paper rolls
Exacto knife
Paint brush
Hot glue gun with hot glue
Big and small googly eyes
Paint, any colors [ I used red, purple, orange, and green/aqua ]
White paint
Some cardboard
[ Optional ] some pom poms [ as much as you like ]
Pencil or marker
Removing the Plastic From the Tissue Box
Take the exacto knife and put it around the inside of the tissue box to remove all the plastic.
If the opening to your tissue box is too small, just use the exacto knife and cut the opening a little bigger.
Cutting Out the Cardboard Teeth
Use the pencil or marker and draw some teeth, and draw some long skinny rectangles for one of the monsters.
Then cut them out with the exacto knife.
If you want to make the monsters a little more sturdy, draw a decent sized square and cut it out.
Painting!
Paint the teeth white. Then the boxes, toilet paper rolls, the rectangles, and the squares the colors you chose.
All of the things you paint will more than likely need a second coat of paint. If they do, just apply the first coat, and wait until they dry. And then apply the second coat and place somewhere to dry for about 45-60 mins.
Making a Face on Your Monsters
Once everything is dry, Make a face on your monster.
Take out as many googly eyes as you want! Put a small little dab [ or multiple dots of hot glue, depending on how many eyes you want. ] of hot glue on the rectangles, and place a googly eye [ or more ] on the dot of hot glue, pressing down slightly.
Line hot glue On the bottom of the rectangles and stick it on the top of the monster, make sure you keep your hand holding the rectangles in place so it doesn't fall over.
[ Optional ] Flip your monster over on it's back [ the bottom part of the tissue box ], and glue some more or just one, Big or small googly eyes on the front top.
You can put the googly eyes wherever you like on any of the monsters.
Gluing the Pom Poms on [ Optional ]
Put some hot glue in between the two eyes [ about the size of a smaller grape ], and stick the pom pom on it.
You can also do this wherever you want on any of the monsters.
Gluing the Teeth On
Put a small line of hot glue acrossed the top of the teeth.
Then place the teeth on the top and bottom of the inside lip in the tissue box, holding it there until you think it's dry enough to remove your hand.
Gluing the Toilet Paper Roll to the Monsters
Place hot glue around all of the top of the toilet paper roll, and stick it to the bottom of the monster or monsters.
Once the toilet paper roll drys to the bottom of the monster, put glue around the other side of the toilet paper roll and put the cardboard square on the toilet paper roll.
