Monolithic Chess Board

How to make a monolithic style chess board using fusion 360.
Supplies

Fusion 360

Start by making the base of the chess piece.
Make a circle and then another slightly smaller circle on top of it and chamfer or fillet the edges.

Make a starting shape "cube like" and extrude it kind of like monolith.

Add some shapes around the middle one to spice it up.

Try to make your piece go to a point at the top to hold your top, in my case gem.

Once you make it to your liking put your top piece on top.
IMPORTANT chamfer and fillet a lot to make your piece look nice.
Repeat for other pieces roughly following the shape of a traditional chess piece.
And remember be creative make it your own.
