Cut 2 pieces of 16 x 16 inches of fabric. Use fabric as desired, there's no limit on what you can use - just make sure that your machine can handle the bulk of the fabric.

Use felt fabric for the cut-out letter. If you have your apprehensive in your cutting skills, print an A4 size letter from your computer and use it a stencil. Trace the outline of the stencil on the fabric and then cut.

Sew the Letter

You have two option for sewing by hand or machine.

I prefer sewing machine. Sew the edge of the letter on one of the 16 x 16 piece fabrics with zig-zag stitch or running stitch. Make sure to back stitch at the beginning and end to avoid fraying thread.

Sandwich the fabric, right side facing each other. Make sure that the fabrics align properly. Pin around the sides.

Place two pins as a guide-mark for the opening to turn-over the fabric and fill-in the fiber after sewing the sides.

Sew the sides of the fabric using quarter or half inch allowance. Remember to back stitch at the beginning and end.

Filling
