Monochrome Orange Necklace

Orange, Dark Orange, Orange Red...

This color has many endings and uses.

We love Orange for the liveliness of its color and it has been proven that the color orange is the one that stands out best in many environments, so used:

• Road hazard signs, warning lights and in the two traffic lights
• Sports (Apprenticeship grade in some martial arts and team representative color)
• Political symbol by some countries
• Commercial uses
• Cultural uses (example: architecture of the San Francisco bridge, the famous "Golden Gate Bridge" painted in Orange International
• Prisoners in the US penitentiary system and those at Guantánamo wear orange uniforms,
• The flight recorders, known as black boxes because the crew does not have access to their content, are painted orange to make it easier to find them if the plane is destroyed.
• Nature (fruit, flower, sunset, leaf, insect, ochre, animals ...)

Orange is a chromatic field of bright colors which, on the chromatic circle, take place between red and yellow, as in the rainbow.

In color theory, orange has a strong positive, even optimistic value. It is a living color that inspires good humor, dynamism, warmth. The orange color is associated with movement, it is present for example in the movement of flames.

We also find the ORANGE color in Fashion, as with certain accessories.

Make the sketch of your jewel.

Select 4 shades of ORANGE colors from the soutache cords. Then, all the beads stated in the list of materials above.

Sew on the coral colored oval crystal rhinestone using 3 different orange colored soutache cords (Orange, Apricot, Metallic Carrot) .

Make 2 bundles of 3 soutache cords on each side. Sew them together using the fine needle and transparent nylon thread. Place a small drop of glue on each edge of the crystal to fix the soutache cords.

Put a clamp on each side for 5 minutes. When it is glued, sew an orange bead in each corner (x4).

Sew 2 cords of soutache (Orange & Tangerine) around a large round faceted orange crystal bead.

Then insert a slightly smaller round orange bead. Cut the soutache cords and burn the tips with the lighter to prevent the string from fraying.

Take 2 cords of soutache (Orange & Apricot) to fix on one side: small orange tube beads and on the other half small orange seed beads.

Sew 3 soutache cords (Orange, Apricot & Metallic Carrot) around a Dark Orange faceted round crystal bead. Stir in a smaller round Orange bead (like the one from the previous step).

Go around the back to sew small Orange tube beads up to halfway. Then, sew an Orange flat round bead to the end.

Repeat parts 2 & 3 a second time to obtain the symmetry of the necklace.

Place the Orange crystal drops to get a better view of your jewel.

Make the 2 symmetrical parts of the choker. Each side should measure approximately 28 cm each.

Take 60 cm of soutache cords (Orange & Apricot), fold them in 2 and slide a double steel ring and a lobster claw on one side and 3 double rings on the other side.

Sew the soutache cords by spacing between a small Orange seed bead and a sewing stitch (x6).

Sew a final Orange crystal cubic bead before incorporating a tinted Orange Agate Stone.

Sew the 2 soutache cords on each side of the stone, giving it a square shape, then stick them on the stone. Unify the 4 soutache cords with the needle and attach a small Orange seed bead to each end of the square bead.

Sew small Orange tube beads along one side of the square agate stone, ending with a square Orange crystal bead. And on the other side, sew on an Orange round bead and a seed bead.

Perform the same process on the other side, reversing the direction of the beads to obtain symmetry.

Assemble all the pieces and give them the right inclination so that the necklace perfectly fits the shape of the neck. Sew each piece with the needle one by one.

Sew the orange crystal drops.

• 1 faceted Coral color drop on the central part N°1 (with 3 small Orange seed beads and 1 cubic Orange crystal bead)
• 1 faceted Orange drop on each side of part N°2 (with 3 small Orange seed beads)

Trace the outline of each piece on the dark Orange leather sheet. Cut and glue each piece.

ORANGE: A flamboyant color to best represent a monochromatic look like a Sunset. Here is a piece of jewelry that will be fun to wear and that will illuminate any other complementary color.
