Mom Border Mother's Day Card
I wanted to play around with word borders and thought Mother's Day would be a great opportunity to try it out!
Now, you can do this with any words or sentences. You just need to get the sizing and spacing right.

Here are the supplies you are going to need:
I used a font I had downloaded so I had to ungroup the font to make it so you could open the document properly. You can, of course, use different font if you would like :)
I just had to keep messing around with the size of the words and the spacing to get it to fit just right. I first created one "Mom" and got the spacing on that. You need the letters to overlap since you will "weld" this later. Then I copy and pasted with a space between the words. Once I had enough, I just kept changing the size of the font until it all sit right.
Then I created little hearts and medium hearts. The little ones went along the sides and the medium ones went around the corner "Mom"s.
The first image shows the exact font (downloaded), size, and character spacing I used. I did move letters around afterwards, though, to make sure all the letters touched. You can see in image 5 that some of the corner letters weren't touching.
- Silhouette Cameo
- Paper colors of choice
- 4 by 5.5 greeting card
- Glue and/or sticky squares
- File
