Moldable Play Sand


Quick, easy, and affordable method to whip up moldable sand for fun sensory play!
Supplies
Fine craft sand - mine is from the dollar store
Corn starch
Oil - any oil works. I had olive on hand, but generally prefer baby or coconut. Use what you have!

Mix!

Combine sand, starch, and oil in a 5-3-1 ratio. I used 2.5 cups sand, 1.5 cups corn starch, and .5 cups oil in this demonstration.
As you mix, you might find you need to sprinkle a little more cornstarch to get the right consistency.
