Moes BRT-100-TRV Socket Replacement
As practical as the mechanism of the TRV is, it is useless when the locking lugs break. Therefore I made a replacement.
The replacement is designed so that it can be mounted without further destruction of the TRV and still provides access to the batteries.
I printed mine in PETG, ABS would be better of course but the temps on the TRV should never be so high that it becomes a problem for PETG.

Supplies
2X M2.5 X 25 mm Phillips pan head machine screws
3X M3 nuts
3X M3X8mm Screws
Connector Plate
First you need to put in M3(3x) nuts in the support plate. These serve for the connection with the valve connector.
Mounting the Plate
Now comes the somewhat difficult part. You must first set the TRV to the closed state. This will extend the bolt completely.
To the right and left of the bolt there are two phillips pan head screws, first loosen only one. This is important because these screws carry the motor and it would fall into the housing if you loosen both at the same time.
After you have loosened one, get the carrier plate ready and hold the bolt with a pair of pliers, so that the motor stays in position.
remove the second bolt while securing the bolt with the pliers. Now place the support plate in its position and secure it with at least one screw (M2,5X25mm). After that you can put away the pliers and insert the second bolt.
With this you can put the batteries back in and the TRV itself is ready.
The valve connection must be provided with the ring. The mounting of the ring is very easy (it must only be pressed on).
To remove the ring from the old valve connection is unfortunately not so easy. I had to break the clamps at mine (is not too bad the old connection can no longer be used anyway).
Finally, connect the TRV to the connector using the 3 M3 X 8mm screws.
That's it, you have an operational TRV again.
