This project is a concept for a modular multipurpose deep space/orbital station. It is intended to meet all basic needs and some desires for a large group of people for a long time.

Supplies

The main structural elements of the station would be made of a strong, lightweight metal. The windows would be made of glass. the connector outer rings would be made of rubber or plastic.

Standardized Connector

These connectors are present on all parts of the station. The metal parts are molded onto modules. Once in space, they would be fitted together and the airtight outer ring would be molded onto the station right there to ensure a permanent seal. Alternatively, for a temporary seal, a similar technique would be used with an easily dissolvable material.

30FT CORRIDOR

This is a simple corridor. It would be the main method of moving throughout the station.

6-WAY INTERSECTION

This is a cupola. It is for observation and mental health.

Ring

This ring would be spun to produce artificial gravity. It would primarily be used for exercise.

Habitation

This is a modular habitation module. Each layer has more than enough space to house eight people comfortably.

Biodome

This module is for growing plant life. The large plot of soil in the center would be used to grow a cherry tree for mental health reasons, both for the view and the fruit.

Solar

This module is for collecting solar energy. The bottom is full of control panels, while the top is a rotating solar panel.

Reactor

This module houses a nuclear fusion reactor. It is a dead end to ensure no one has to pass it on a regular basis.

Dining and Medical

These two modules use the same structure with different furniture to house dining and medical facilities.

Airlock

This is an airlock for more mobile vehicles to dock to.

Electrolysis
