Modular Resin UV Cure Box
UV cure box is essential for resin printing, it gives a more uniform curing to the printed part and you can use it any time of the day. Hence, I have come out with this modular design of the UV cure box or instead stands to cure my resin printed part. This design needs to be used together with the display turntable.
This is a half-done project and I'm posting this as progress documentation, and hopefully give some inspiration for you to build yourself one!
Supplies
- Electric display turntable
- 3D printer
- Cable ducts (the one I have is 20*9mm)
- UV led (I'm using 2385)
Assembly
The assembly is straightforward, print everything from the attached Fusion files and slot everything together.
I only printed one of the stand out because it is enough for now, maybe in the future I can add in a copper connector so the circuitry can be connected when the stands are slotted together. I also have a timer module that can turn the LED on for a certain amount of time, I will try to make an enclosure for it to complete the whole project.
