This instructable will show you how to make a modular messenger bag.  The best part is it can cost less than $20.

Constructive criticism is welcome as I am new to this.

The Supplies

- various sized bubble mailers (these will be the pockets so get as many or as few as you like)
-duct tape (this wil reinforce the pockets, but it also lets you express yourself through what kind you choose)
-double sided duct tape
-electrical tape
-2+ key rings
-a strap

The Pockets

Wrap all of the bubble mailers in duct tape. Then stretch them by putting somthing in them and then taking it out several times.

Attaching the Pockets

Take the largest pocket and put a couple of strips of double sided tape across one side. Stick the smaller pockets to it , and repeat the process until all of your pouches are attached.

The Strap and the Flap

Cut a 3in piece of electrical tape, and sting it through the key ring as shown below. Repeat this with the other ring. Once thats done tape them on opposite sides.  Now we will make the flap by laying strips of duct tape sticky side to sticky side, and taping it to the back of the bag.

Wrap It Up

The time has come to finish the bag. Wrap it all the way around with tape! Make sure not to tape any of the pockets shut.

Enjoy!

Please enjoy the awesome bag that you just made. It will probably hold up better than a real one. These make great presents for any duck tape-loving friend or relative!

Modifications

You can add velcro or some other means of closing the pouches and the flap.  Another helpful mod would be a pencil/pen holding part.  Be creative and post ideas that you think will improve the bag.
