Rock'em-Sock'em Robots are great, but there pretty big. What if I told you that this Rock'em Sock'em Robots mini build could fit in the palm of your hand, and is about as long as the cap of an average sized sharpie. You can't play with it, but it is fun to look at.

Make the base. You need yellow, red, blue, and white air dry clay. First make a square, about 1 inch, by 1 inch of yellow clay. It should be about half an inch thick

When you are done making the square base, on two opposite ends make small ledge that will stick out from the bottom. This is where the control sticks will be placed onto.

Make poles that will stand on each corner of the base.

To make the switches, first make a small rectangle shape (one in blue, one in red). These will sit on top of the yellow ledges.

Make to small candle shape rods (2 blue, 2 red). On the top add a little yellow clay to each one. These are your switches.

Make 2 small oval flat shapes and put into ring. Each on on opposite side of ring (at an angle). This is where the robots will stand on.

Take some white clay and roll it into 8 separate pieces. These will be the ropes that go around all four yellow poles. (The ropes around the "ring").

NOW...the robots. YAY!

Next, you have to make the two robots.

Make two small square heads, one red, one blue. The heads should be a little bigger than a lemon seed, and square. Make a small red cylinder for the neck of your red robot. He/She is the one who's head is now been bonked by the other robot.

Make two bodies that are in the shape of the ones in the picture. I'm sorry that i can't give you more detail on how to make the bodies, but the shape is hard to describe.

To make the arms and legs, you have to make small cylinders, four of each color. For the hands, flatten a small area at one end of each arm. At the other end, put a small sphere for the fist. For the legs, make then slightly larger than the arms, and bend them in the middle to make knees. Add a small square foot at the bottom of each foot.

Assemble the pieces in the order shown in the picture. Head, (In the case of the red robot, neck.) body, arms, (flat side against the body, fist side facing out) and the legs.

The red robot is the one being knocked out in this build, so we thought it was only fair to give it eyes that looked like this. x x. It is hard to see in the picture, but the eyes are little x's. Just a fun detail you can do.
