ModBot is a modular robot that can change its parts to perform different tasks. The idea is to have a platform flexible enough to be used in more than only one task. Given its modular design It can be used as a mobile robot for tasks like mowing the garden, cleaning the floor, or helping you carry the groceries from the car to the kitchen. Also it can be used without its "feet" to help on static tasks like cooking or dish washing. Every module added or removed from the system interconnects with the rest of it an will change its functionality so it will not be necessary to get a lot of robots to perform different tasks.
