Mobile Photography of Little Princess

Hello everyone... I am vishal.

Basically i am an electronic engineer but this time i am writing something different, which works in daily life.

I think all person want to take nice looking photos but it is not possible to bring DSLR with us and also all are not professional photographers. I faced same problem with me.

My sister said to take nice pictures of her daughter but i realised that i am not good at taking pictures so i thought why not do some research on it. So i found out that there is a pro mode in mobile people are using that setting to adjust the photo but i want really simple tips to maks my photos more professional.

So i am sharing some tips with you which i have leaned during my research. That includes how to take good looking photographs in mobile and also how to edit in the mobile.

The most important thing for mobile photography is choosing a mobile.

If you are using iphone then there is no issue, becouse latest iphones after Iphone X all giving quality photos which is great.

If you are using Android then choose a nice camera phone and make sure the camera software does not over process photos (camera software adding there filters like beauty mode etc.)

For Android don't consider number of camera like 64mp or 180mp it just a number, you need a quality photo with high resolution so we can edit and correct it later.

For my photos i am using redmi note 10 pro max , which gives good quality photos in day light, but in low light it struggle alot. It gives tiny white dots on photo. By the way for this tutorial we will take photos in day light only.

Honestly saying don't use portrait mode directly in camera or set the blur effect in camera.

As you can see in the image there are two photos one is with portrait mode directly used in camera.

Another photo is the amount of blur is reduced to make it more natural like professional lens blur.

Honestly speaking i don't have believe on portrait mode some time it doesn't detect hairs and tiny details like earings etc. I blur it with mobile applications which we will discuss later.

If you really want natural blur with no effort make sure your background is far away from or main object as shown in image where i took photo with background which is far away from my Smart plug project.

Background is very important in good photos.

Some time background can be extract from nature or sometimes the background can be a piece of cloth that matches theme of your photo.

The first photo is taken on the festival of lord Ganesha, so it is kind of traditional photo, the red pink or orange background for traditional photos is perfect.

The 2nd photo is taken on roof which blur background becouse it us far away and the cloud in sky is looks very good.

But that all background are little filled, if the plane background is used will also good the back background always works for all type of objects and models.

• Use mobile stand. If there is no stand in your house then stable it with books or wall.
• If your photo looks boring then try different angles to take photo.
• If background is important then onject looks cool in one of side not in center.
• Try to match Colors in photos
• Instagram and Snapchat filters also works great but after this you are not able to do much with photo.
• Use probs and object with model to make it more attractive.

There is two software which i use to edit photos in my android.

1. PicsArt
2. Snapseed

Both are amazing, download both software and explore it you will find many features in it.

For now i am gonna explain some of useful features.

Pics art do three most important things.

1. Cutting photo
2. Blur background
3. Adding image on image.

Blur background:-

to blur background import image and go to FX and then you will see blur.

Cutting background:-

To cut any photo click on scissors tool as show in image.

Adding image on image:-

To add image on image click on add image tool and select image which you want to add.

There is three main tool in Snapseed, which makes your photo awesome

1. Tune image :- this is very useful to control brightness contrast and shadows.
2. Portrait:- this tool correct human skin.
3. Vintage:- this tool makes border darker to focus on center object.
