Mobile Chopped Life - Floor Graphic Application Instructions

IMPORTANT NOTES BEFORE YOU BEGIN:

• Please read through these application instructions very carefully.
• Have at least 2 people to apply these floor graphics.
• Allow yourself 30–40min of uninterrupted time to complete this application.
• It is best to apply these graphics at closing so that they can set overnight.
   
• Clean the floor surface and let it dry completely before you begin.
• These graphics start at the front entrance after the rug.

In your kit you will receive 5 circle floor graphics. You will also have 5 green strips that will be used to connect the circles.

Note: Your strips may already be pre-cut into single strips.

Arrange the circle graphics after the front entrance rug in the following order:

Closest to the door -  ARE YOU THIRSTY?
Next on the left - YES
Next on the right - NO
After the 'NO' on the right - WE THINK YOU WILL BE!
After the 'YES' on the left and furthest away from the door - GET A FREE CHOPPED WATER!
*REFER TO THE PICTURE FOR EXACT PLACEMENT.

Make sure these circles are never more than one green strip length away from the circle before. Varied lengths and slightly turning the circles at different angles will add interest.

All the circle graphics should be in the correct placement. Now, peel the first large circle (closest to the door) off the backing. Be careful not to let it fold and stick onto itself.

While keeping your originally planned placement and angle, carefully lay down the graphic smoothly against the floor starting at one edge to avoid folding or bubbling.

Gently pat the graphic down. But, not too firmly as you still will need to lift up some edges to apply the green strips unterneath.

Lift up the edge of the graphic (with your fingers or a dull knife) where you will start to put the green strip at an angle towards the next circle.

Carefully peel off one of the green strips making sure it does not fold or stick onto itself.

Note: Your strips may already be pre-cut into single strips.

Hold each end of the strip and get the right angle you will need from the center of the first circle to the next.

Stick down the first end under the circle and slowly press the strip along the floor at the correct angle to the next circle.

Once you get to the next circle, cut any excess green strip material and still leave about and inch of strip that will hide under the circle graphic.

Take the circle graphic off of it's backing.

Then carefully apply the graphic, making sure it covers the end of the green strip and is on the planned spot and angle.

For the rest of the circle graphics and strips follow STEPS 7–13.
Make sure the green strips go to the correct circles, as per the first visual layout.

Once all the circles and strips are applied onto the floor in the correct sequence, use the small white 3M squeegee (provided in your kit) to smooth down the graphics. Make sure you move the squeegee pressing down on an angle from the center of the circle out to the edge of the circle. This will help get any air bubbles out.

Then you're done!

Be aware that it is ideal to let the graphics set overnight.
