Mobile Art Gallery

Hi! I created a temporary/mobile art gallery, so that people can stop by and come inside to look at some artwork! Whether you're at the park, beach, or streets, this mobile art gallery can be there for a quick stop by! This art gallery is able to be located at many places because it folds into a small box, and the hook attached to the front allows it to be dragged by a motorized vehicle. This design is super efficient, reusable, and eco-friendly as it is made out of wood entirely!!

Supplies

All I used to create this was the software Fusion 360!

Create the Gallery

Creating the basic structure of this mobile art gallery was simple. I just extruded many squares, connected them to make a box, then extended it to the side to create more room for artwork to be displayed. For the wheels, I extruded a circle, cut a whole in the middle, then added tiny rectangles for detail. Lastly for the steps I extruded rectangles and layered them.

Add the Art

The most important step to make an art gallery is the art! To do this on fusion, first, I created the frame, which was just an extruded rectangle that was filleted. For the actual artwork, I downloaded images off Google and inserted them through rendering. I made them fit the portrait, so it looked like a painting!

After everything was done, I added little details to make it look a little more realistic. I changed the material of the gallery to wood, so it would be cheap and easy to construct, reusable, and more efficient. I changed the materials of the picture frames to match the paintings, and I added a little front desk so people can check in and leave the gallery in an orderly fashion. I also extruded the text "ART GALLERY" and painted it purple to make it pop and attract people.

This was a challenging part for me, because it took a while for me to resize and fit my gallery in the background without making it look like it was super unrealistic. I chose a grassy background so it would look like my gallery was in a park
